Shun Yi Association of North America was founded in 2009. It aims to preserve the traditional virtue of its ancestor, Emperor Shun, revive the Chinese culture by filial piety, and promote world prosperity.
The 5th National Convention of Shun Yi Association of North America was held in Sacramento USA from July 31 to August 1 2019. There were about 100 participants from its branches in North America. In the conference, all delegates promised that they would dedicate themselves to promoting the traditional Chinese culture and continuing to support the Republic of China (Taiwan), where democracy and freedom function both in principle and in practice.
On behalf of OCAC Minister Wu, Hsin-Hsing, Chief Secretary Chang Liang-Ming attended the Opening Ceremony and praised the effort and contribution that the organization has achieved throughout the years, which included preserving traditional Chinese culture, developing the spirit of unity and friendship, and maintaining democracy and freedom.
