Taiwan has signed an agreement with Lithuania to use laser technology in semiconductor packaging. The deal comes as the newly elected Lithuanian prime minister tries to repair ties with China after letting Taiwan open a representative office in Vilnius whose name included the word "Taiwan" as opposed to the more commonly used "Taipei."
