On May 9, 2026, the FASCA Orange County Chapter demonstrated their dedication to community service by volunteering at the multi-cultural May Festival hosted by the Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center (AASCSC) at the Heritage Museum of Orange County. Under the leadership of advisory mentors, the members managed logistics, assisted with registration, and supported over 20 government and non-profit booths. The vibrant festival celebrated Labor Day, Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, AAPI Heritage Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month through interactive workshops and a diverse cultural showcase—culminating in an energetic traditional fashion show featuring seniors from various backgrounds. Director Hsiao of the Orange County Culture Center (TECO), and AASC Executive Director Jennifer Wang commended the young volunteers, noting that their proactive support not only fostered profound cross-generational bonds but also significantly enhanced the visibility of the Taiwanese American youth within the mainstream community.
