The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Australia Junior Chapter (TCCAJC) held the "2025 Business Leaders Forum" in Sydney on December 2, 2025, under the theme "Behind the Rise: How They Did It?" The event featured four Taiwanese business leaders from different industries in Australia, who shared their journeys of building success from the ground up. The forum attracted over 50 young overseas Taiwanese participants, along with several compatriot community leaders.
The invited speakers included Bob Cheng, founder of GiftPay; Lily Hoy, founder of Amazing Funerals; Hadrian Lee, CEO of MyHealth; and John Chan, owner of Ice Kirin Bar. They spoke about the uncertainties of early-stage entrepreneurship, the challenges of navigating life as new immigrants, the process of building trust in the Australian market, and how they turned setbacks into momentum for growth.
Young attendees shared that the speakers'candid stories were deeply inspiring, particularly their experiences of surviving and creating opportunities across different cultural contexts. The Q&A session was equally engaging, with participants raising questions on entrepreneurship, professional development, and business management, leading to meaningful exchanges.
TCCAJC President Andy Lin hopes that such forums in the future would provide young compatriots in the greater Sydney area with more opportunities for learning and growth, while fostering professional exchange and community connections. The event concluded with warm interactions and lively discussions. Participants expressed strong appreciation and look forward to future editions.
