In response to the growing number of our citizens traveling, studying, and working abroad, the demand for emergency assistance and overseas support has risen significantly. Our overseas communities constantly assist citizens during emergencies, providing essential support and care, leading to a vital sense of security and warmth. To integrate these benevolent efforts into a systematic and robust support network, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) has actively encouraged the establishment of Emergency Assistance Associations worldwide. With the addition of La Asociación Mutual de los Taiwaneses en Argentina, Capítulo Zárate, located in Zárate, Argentina, in May 2026, this global network has now expanded to 121 organizations.
