The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Europe (ETCC) delegation, with a group of 12 delegates led by President Den-Hsang Chuang, visited the Over-seas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) on December 10, 2024. Minister Chia-Ching Hsu received the visitors, and complimented the efforts and legacy of all ETCC former presidents, officials and members for encouraging more and more young en-terpreneurs from different countries in Europe to participate in the organization, mak-ing ETCC and Taiwanese entrepreneurs more united and influential.

Minister Hsu praised the support from every ex-president of ETCC and said "Europe, a big potential market, has developed sound institutions and complete regulations, e.g.  the norms and standards for ESG, zero emissions, etc. Every member of ETCC has played a key role keeping Taiwan aligned internationally on the foundation of expat-riate Taiwanese in different countries,  helping Taiwan government and entrepreneurs to invest in Europe and bridging countries all over Europe for mutually-beneficial development."

President Chuang expressed appreciation for the support and concerns of  Minister Hsu. "ETCC has 19 member states with about 1,000 members across Europe. I must express many thanks to all  ETCC former presidents for their contributions and assis-tance. We are doing well and will keep on striving to increase business cooperations and exchange in Europe." Chuang said. He also invited Minister Hsu to join the ETCC's annual meeting in Portugal in 2025.

The delegation also included National Policy Advisor Shyng-Der, Huang(France), Senior Adviser of OCAC Chin-Hua, Huang Tseng(France) and ETCC officials: Hon-orary President Mei-Chi Liu(Luxembourg), Chief Supervisor Yu-Ping Shu(Norway), Vice President Hsin-Tien Lee(UK), Vice President I-Hsien Hsu(Sweden), Vice Presi-dent Hong-Chang Huang(Czech),  Vice President Wei Yeh (Lithuania), Chief Finan-cial Officer Enya Chen (Portagual), Secretary General Tintin Ming-Hsuan Chien(Sweden), and President David Chang(Turkey) of the ETCC's Junior Chapter. The group also visited Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council on the same day to engage in  ex-change on deeper business cooperation and opportunities between Taiwan and Eu-rope.
