The 2026 Language Study Program for Compatriot Youth Global Program –Summer Class 2, organized by Chihlee University of Technology on behalf of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), brought together 92 overseas youth from 14 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain.

The program combined Mandarin language learning with cultural experiences. In addition to hands-on sessions in traditional arts such as calligraphy, glove puppetry, and folk crafts, field trips were integrated into the itinerary, taking participants to iconic landmarks including Taipei 101, Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Jiufen, and Shifen. These experiences effectively deepened the youth's understanding and appreciation of Taiwan's diverse culture.

Through this program, participants gained significant Mandarin proficiency and built lasting friendships. It is hoped that they will regard Taiwan as their "home away from home" and continue to exert a positive influence as strong bridges connecting Taiwan with overseas Chinese communities worldwide.
