On November 8, FASCA Michigan chapter joined Michigan State University's Global Festival. This was their 11th year volunteering at the event. They shared Taiwanese culture and met people from many different backgrounds.
FASCA members hosted a table about Taiwan. They wrote names in Mandarin, made bookmarks, gave out bear tattoos, and played fun quiz games. Some members also showed Diabolo skills. They supported the Michigan Lion Dance Team, whose performance received loud applause.
The festival was fun and meaningful for FASCA members. They learned about many cultures and made new friends. Parents said the event helped their children become more open-minded, confident, and proud of their own culture.
Visitors enjoy a variety of interactive activities.
