On November 2, New York City was full of energy as over 50,000 runners took part in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. More than 20 FASCA members from the Princeton and New York chapters, along with their counselors and families, set up a Taiwan Support Station at mile 23. They proudly shared the spirit of Taiwan with runners from all over the world.
FASCA members waved Taiwanese flags, played music, and cheered for every runner. With support from TECO in New York, the street was filled with ROC flags and a strong sense of encouragement. Many runners smiled, waved back, and felt supported as they passed the cheering crowd.
The marathon was more than just a race. It was a moment of unity and hope. FASCA members, runners, and families felt the power of support and global friendship, showing how people from different cultures can come together as one.
FASCA members handed out Republic of China flags to runners from Taiwan, giving them extra pride and encouragement from home.
