The "Fee-Charging Standards for the Issuance of Overseas Compatriot Identity Certificates by the Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C. (TAIWAN)" has remained unchanged since its implementation on March 23, 2007. In light of the annual increase in the Consumer Price Index over the past three years and changes in the administrative costs associated with processing Overseas Compatriot Identity Certificates, the OCAC revised and promulgated the "Fee-Charging Standards for the Issuance of Overseas Compatriot Identity Certificates by the Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C. (TAIWAN)" on March 19, 2026. (Link)
Accordingly, the fee for each certificate will be adjusted from NT$200 to NT$250, effective July 1, 2026.
