1. Taiwanese Culture and Folk Art Teacher Training Program (Taiwan)
Every year overseas compatriot schools and organizations hold a variety of well-developed activities, such as the Lunar New Year celebrations, the Double Tenth Day celebrations, the Taiwanese Heritage Week, and Summer Camps for Youth, which draw a large number of overseas compatriots and people from the mainstream society. To better assist in these activities, local cultural talent recommended and selected by overseas offices would return to Taiwan for the Taiwanese Culture and Folk Art Teacher Training Program (Taiwan). The Program not only encourages overseas talent to devote themselves to cultural diplomacy but also enhances the professional skills of culture lecturers and cultural event organizers. The Program helps Taiwan exert soft power and promotes Taiwanese culture overseas.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, since 2021, the Taiwanese Culture and Folk Art Teacher Training Program has been held online. A total of 69 participants from 15 countries around the world have finished for the Program.
