If an Overseas Compatriot Conscription Male has not yet prepared the required documents (including a valid R.O.C. (Taiwan) passport, a valid foreign passport or overseas permanent / long-term residence permit, proof of entry or exit to the overseas residence within the past four months, and a valid Overseas Compatriot Identity Certificate for Military Service), and has not received a military physical examination notice, is not scheduled for conscription, and is not restricted from exit, he may apply for exit through the Short-Term Exit Application System
LINK. However, he must upload all required documents to the Overseas Compatriot Conscription Male – Exit Document Review Platform within four (4) months after departure. Once the uploaded documents pass review, his status will be updated to Overseas Compatriot Conscription Male. If he fails to upload the documents within the deadline or the review is not approved, he will be required to return to the R.O.C. (Taiwan).
