The Delegation of Chinese Community of New England, which included 20 compatriots, visited Taiwan from November 10 to 15, 2024.
During their visit, the delegation, composed entirely of community leaders from the Boston metropolitan area, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tien Chung-kwang, Vice Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council Roy Yuan-Rong Leu.
Since its establishment in 2000, the Chinese Community of New England has been dedicated to promoting and preserving the values of freedom and democracy. The delegation expressed their steadfast support for the R.O.C. (TAIWAN), and they exchanged opinions on several topics focused on young generations, and mutual communications.
Beyond their official engagements, the delegation also traveled to Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Nantou County, Chiayi City, and Tainan City. They witnessed Taiwan's economic growth and beautiful scenery firsthand, and they also expressed their admiration for Taiwan’s friendly multicultural environment.
