The Delegation of "Shun Yi Association of North America", which included 37 compatriots, visited Taiwan from July 29 to August 3, 2024.

During their visit, the delegation, composed of community leaders and members from Boston, Chicago, Oakland, New York and Los Angels, met with President Lai, Ching-Te, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Chen, Li-Kuo, and Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council Hsu, Chia-Ching.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the delegation aimed to deepen the connection and interaction between Taiwan and the United States by organizing this trip. All the members showed their unwavering support for the values of freedom and democracy of the R.O.C. (Taiwan), and they would continue to serve as a cultural bridge between Taiwan and other countries around the world to enhance Taiwan's global visibility.

Beyond their official engagements, the delegation also traveled to Miaoli County, Taichung City, Chiayi City, Nantou County, and Tainan City. They witnessed Taiwan's economic growth and beautiful scenery firsthand, and they also expressed their admiration for Taiwan’s friendly multicultural environment.
