The Delegation of "World Federation of Chinese Organization from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos" and "Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos Chinese Organization of America", which included 41 compatriots, visited Taiwan from April 22 to 27, 2024.

During their visit, the delegation, composed entirely of community leaders, met with President Tsai Ing-wen, President of Legislative Yuan Daniel K.Y. Han, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kelly Wu-Chiao Hsieh, and Vice Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council Yuan-Rong Leu.

The delegation gained insights into the latest developments of the New Southbound Policy and Taiwan's future outlook on overseas affairs. They expressed their unwavering support for the democracy and freedom of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) and committed to serving as a cultural bridge between Taiwan and their countries of residence to enhance Taiwan's global visibility.

Beyond their official engagements, the delegation also traveled to Miaoli County, Taichung City, Chiayi City, Nantou County, and Tainan City, immersing themselves in the multicultural environment and admiring the beautiful scenery. By witnessing Taiwan's progress and friendly customs firsthand, they aimed to share more of Taiwan's cultural spirit with their communities.
