Taiwan's main opposition Kuomintang is looking to host three public, televised debates with top Cabinet officials on the stalled 2026 budget proposal. This comes after the Premier said he is willing to debate lawmakers on the proposal, which has been repeatedly blocked in the opposition-led legislature.
