The 2026 Seattle Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA) New Member Training concluded on August 16 with a showcase and graduation ceremony, uniting over 150 community leaders, parents, and participants. Designed to foster cultural connection and youth empowerment, the program brought in guest instructors alongside senior member teaching assistants to guide ice-breakers, team-building exercises, and workshops. Representative officials praised the trainees' energy and creativity, highlighting how these youth ambassadors effectively champion Taiwanese culture across local platforms.

During the achievement showcase, trainees performed the FASCA Ambassador Dance, presented family migration storytelling projects, and joined returning members in vibrant group routines. Participants shared that navigating early team challenges taught them critical lessons in communication, strategy, and collaboration. Senior members also reflected on their multi-year journeys within FASCA, describing how the organization helped them overcome self-doubt, build strong leadership skills, and proudly embrace their Taiwanese-American identity.

The ceremony concluded with a formal oath of admission and a retrospective video showcasing the two-day training journey. Community leaders reaffirmed FASCA's founding pillars—Culture, Service, Leadership, and Heritage—and encouraged the new ambassadors to remain active in local community service. By continually equipping young leaders with cultural pride and dedication, FASCA aims to deepen its roots in the Pacific Northwest and foster a connected, hopeful Taiwanese-American community.
