The graduation ceremony of The Mentoring Learning Lab(MLL) was held at Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York(TECO-NY)  on February 20. It was co-hosted by Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of New York (TCCNY)and Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of New York(TJCCNY). During the ceremony, pairs of mentors and mentees gathered together, sharing their experiences, and the mentee, Alex Wang, was awarded the "Best Pitch Award" for showing leadership, integrity, and strength.
The MLL, held by TCCNY and TJCCNY, started enrollment from July 2019. It successfully matched ten pairs of mentors and mentees. The mentors are the directors of the Chambers aforementioned, who are willing to share their expertise and experiences with the young generation. The exchanges lasted for four months from September 2019 to January 2020. By growing together, mentors and mentees both benefited from teaching and learning.
Hans Chunyu Chang, Deputy Director-General of TECO-NY, said that although there were only four months of exchanges, the mentees are capable of contributing to the society whether they are in the U.S. or Taiwan.
