Australian Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (QLD) Inc (ATCCQ) held the ATCCQ Entrepreneur Challenge results presentation meeting at Powerhouse in Brisbane at 6:30 pm on October 14. Over 100 people attended, including ATCCQ president Simon Yeh, members, representatives from mainstream Australian and Philippines chambers of commerce and others, and contestants.

Seven teams of university students entered the competition, announcing their startup ideas on the themes of medical treatment, real estate investment and travel etc to promote Taiwan-Australia economic and trade exchange. The Workeroo team came out on top, its Working Holiday Work Platform winning over the audience and judges to take away a prize of AUD 1500. The event was innovative and successful and showed the creativity and execution power of the ATCCQ.

This Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce event was supported by organizations including the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Oceania, Australian Trade and Investment Commissions, Brisbane Marketing, Grace Education, and Dandy Entertainment, and was guided by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Brisbane, Australia and Queensland Taiwan Centre. The event provided the creative strategies of young Taiwanese entrepreneurs for reference in promoting the New Southbound policy and was great success all round.
