To celebrate the 2020 Lunar New Year, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) invited Formosa Circus Art (FOCA) to present their new performances to overseas compatriots in Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia from January 27th to February 16th. FOCA combined traditional acrobatics with songs, body art, dance and other forms of performance to exhibit the charm of Taiwan's diverse culture and boundless vitality.
The OCAC, through Cultural Goodwill Missions and by way of high quality performing arts, works closely with overseas compatriot communities, introduces Taiwan's culture heritage and innovational overseas, and makes the international community know, feel and love Taiwan more.
The feats of the young and professional performers in the 2020 Cultural Goodwill Mission in Asia attracted an audience of 11,180 people and formed a close bond between overseas compatriots and their homeland.
