On October 29, the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands – Junior Chapter (TCCN-JC) - hosted its inaugural ceremony and the first board meeting of directors and supervisors in the conference room of the Taipei Representative Office in the Netherlands. 25 attendees – including founding members of the Junior Chapter, the Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and supervisors, and representatives from the expat community graced the ceremony to celebrate this special milestone moment, and offer their advice on future development programs. The attending youth representatives have already had their voices heard in the professional community, and the Chamber of Commerce was overjoyed that it could continue to support an exchange platform for overseas Taiwanese youth.
In establishing the Junior Chapter, two previous chairmen of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands have worked tirelessly, convening numerous board meetings of directors and supervisors to ensure a consensus. The corporate charter of the Chamber of Commerce was revised in July accordingly, followed by the support of COC members to select possible founding members for the organizing committee. The founding members then picked a board of directors and supervisors, and a chairman. On the day of the inaugural ceremony, assurances were made that all the vacancies have been competently filled. The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands vows to support its Junior Chapter’s future development.
