OCAC invited hoteliers and hospitality service providers overseas interested in promoting tourism in Taiwan back to the country for a visit, which aimed to help them tap into the potentials of Taiwan's unique cultural landscape, and brainstorm new tourism packaging ideas to broaden business opportunities promised by the country's rich sightseeing possibilities.

30 hospitality service providers from 25 regions throughout 16 countries signed up for the tour as they traveled to noted destinations in Taichung, Hsinchu, and Miaoli. They stopped by Baimi Clog Museum in Yilan, the National Center for Traditional Arts (NCFTA), Hwataoyao Botanic Garden, Ceramic Studio & Wood Kilns, and the old street of wood sculptures in Miaoli, plus the tree-lined bike trail in Tungfeng, and Carton King Creativity Park in Taichung as participants enjoyed local "small-eats." Also, briefings on "the status of Taiwan's tourism and prospects", plus "hotspot destinations throughout Taiwan's counties and cities" by the Tourism Bureau and local government representatives were arranged to help attendees get to know the "who's-who" tourism highlights across the island. In addition, meet-and-greets and exchange activities were set up, and participated by 23 local tourism agencies, cultural-and-creative services, and hostess gifts designers. The event was a great success as attendees enjoyed in-depth talks with local representatives to brainstorm and innovate ideas on advancing Taiwan's tourism in the international community.
