The Beinu Alumnae Association of Greater Washington Area (大華府區北一女校友會) and the CSGHS Alumni Association (中山女高校友會) co-hosted a financial knowledge sharing seminar at the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (CC TECRO) in Washington D.C. on January 27, 2024. Michelle Yang, the Deputy Director of CC TECRO, welcomed the guests from both associations and extended warm New Year wishes to the alumni.

During the seminar, the two expert speakers addressed critical financial decisions in life, covering topics such as property investment, loans, children's education funds, investments, and taxation. The focus was on early planning for retirement to ensure a secure and dignified old-age life. Enhancing financial literacy and comprehensive planning were emphasized as key elements leading to a peaceful and respectable retirement.

The seminar also covered other financial topics such as "The Importance of Tax Planning", "Choosing Children's Education Funds", "Preserving Wealth in Stock Market Volatility", "Combating Inflation to Safeguard Wealth", "Establishing Sustainable Income for Longevity", and  "Arranging Long-term Care to Avoid Expensive Nursing Costs.”

The seminar was a valuable lesson for alumni to gain insights into financial decisions, emphasizing financial literacy, comprehensive planning, and early retirement planning. The associations remain committed to empowering their members with the necessary knowledge and tools for a secure future.
