1. Liaison Services to Overseas Compatriot Associations
(1) Assist and guide overseas compatriot associations to organize important events or annual meetings
(2) Support overseas compatriot associations to organize festival and regional activities
(3) Select overseas compatriot associations’ cadre to go to Taiwan to attend seminars or meetings
2. Overseas Compatriot Education Affairs
(1) Provide the professional training for teachers of overseas compatriot schools
(2) Arrange activities on Teacher’s Day and process Outstanding overseas compatriot Teachers’ Award
(3) Dispatch culture and folk arts teachers to teach traditional culture
(4) Provide teaching materials which published by OCAC
3. Overseas Compatriot Economic Affairs
(1) Assistance in the development of overseas compatriot chamber of commerce
(2) Provide training for leaders of overseas compatriot chamber of commerce
(3) Select overseas compatriots to attend various training programs or workshops in Taiwan
(4) Assist overseas compatriot associations to attend cultural, artistic and athletic activities
4. Liaison Services to Overseas Compatriot Schools and Students
(1) Encourage overseas youth to return to Taiwan for further study as the reserve staff in the overseas compatriot associations
(2) Connect the alumni of Taiwanese schools in order to hold the connection between the alumni and the government
(3) Process the application procedure for Overseas Youth Vocational Training Workshop
(4) Encourage overseas youths to return to Taiwan to join the language and culture studying program
5. Others
(1) Invite the editors / reporters of the local overseas compatriot news media to visit Taiwan
(2) Promote the "OCAC News" to overseas compatriots in Malaysia.
