On December 14 2025, the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce in Orange County (TJCCOC), together with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth business associations in Southern California, hosted a year-end winter charity event. Cash and in-kind donations were presented to the local charity group H.O.P.E. The event brought together local entrepreneurs, industrial leaders, and Chamber of Commerce members to celebrate the holiday season. The event not only facilitated business networking but also showcased the spirit of giving and dedication of the Taiwanese American community.
The event organizer donated over US$3,000 worth of essential items to H.O.P.E., including blankets, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste sets, sleeping mats, children's music books. A cash donation of US$500 was also made to sponsor the Family and Children Support Project. H.O.P.E founder and CEO, Gayle Knight, attended the event, sharing the organization's mission and its positive impact on the community. She also thanked all the attendees for their enthusiasm and support.
TCCOC President Wendy Hu thanked the OCAC and all participants for making the event a success. She shared that more meaningful events would continue to be planned in the coming year and looked forward to more exchanges and collaborations with local professional associations, other Chambers of Commerse, and community groups from different ethnic backgrounds. She also hoped that more friends would join the TCCOC and work together toward greater accomplishments.
The event also featured a professional presentation and career sharing session by Eileen Liu, a TCCOC board member, along with a representative from New York Life Insurance. Nearly 100 attendees participated, including members from TCCOC, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Junior Chapter of Greater Los Angeles (TJCCLA), the Taiwanese American Professionals–Orange County (TAP-OC), the Taiwanese American Professionals–Los Angeles (TAP-LA), ACE NextGen (the millennial branch of the Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship), and the Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) of Southern California.
