Taipei, Aug. 13 (CNA) Economics Minister Wang Mei-hua (王美花) will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Energy Ministers' Meeting in Seattle from Aug. 15-16, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Sunday.

She will also share with APEC member economies the strategies and work of Taiwan on decarbonizing the power sector, accelerating the development of renewable energy, and reducing methane emissions, according to the MOEA.
The meeting, which has "creating a resilient and sustainable future for all" as its theme, was last held in 2015.
During her stay, Wang will also attend a forum on Taiwan-U.S. supply chain and trade cooperation held jointly by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle and an American think tank, the National Bureau of Asian Research, on Aug. 14, the ministry said.
