The FASCA Buenos Aires Chapter held its first inaugural new member training on July 20 and 21. The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) dispatched four professional instructors from Taiwan to Argentina to guide the youth in deepening their understanding of Taiwanese culture and fostering service spirit, leadership, and teamwork.
Ambassador Hsieh of the TECO in Argentina and FASCA Buenos Aires Chapter Chairperson Ko attended both the opening and closing ceremonies. Ambassador Hsieh encouraged participants to actively engage and translate their learning into actions that serve the overseas community and promote Taiwanese culture. Chairperson Ko praised the trainees as the "hope of the overseas community." During the opening, mentors read a greeting from OCAC Minister Hsu in Mandarin and Spanish, conveying full support for youth development.
After two days of intensive training, participants completed all challenges and received certificates, enthusiastically chanting "¡Somos FASCA!" Ambassador Hsieh also presented certificates of appreciation to the instructors for their dedication. Overseas community leaders expressed high hopes for these young ambassadors to serve as vital bridges connecting Taiwan and Argentina.
The inaugural new member training of the FASCA Buenos Aires Chapter concluded successfully, with all participants, distinguished guests, and instructors from Taiwan posing for a commemorative group photo.
Members engaged in group hands-on activities to cultivate communication, coordination skills, and a spirit of cooperation.
Ambassador Hsieh presented certificates of completion, encouraging FASCA members to remain dedicated to serving the overseas community and passing on Taiwanese culture.
