The 2026 OCAC Language Study Program for Compatriot Youth – Regional Program – Philippines Classes 1 and 2 successfully concluded, providing overseas compatriot youth from the Philippines with a meaningful opportunity to enhance their Mandarin proficiency.
Every weekday morning, students attended Mandarin classes, while afternoons featured rotating cultural courses, traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy, cultural lectures, and educational visits. Through hands-on activities such as Dough Figurine, Traditional Knot, Seal Carving, Diabolo, Martial Art, Taijiquan, and Traditional Folk Art, as well as lectures on Indigenous culture, Hakka cuisine, and the Dragon Boat Festival, participants gained a deeper appreciation of Taiwan's diverse culture. Students also visited Chuang Ching Vocational High School and Ming Chuan University (Taoyuan Campus).
At the closing ceremonies, student representatives from both classes shared their reflections and learning experiences, bringing this meaningful cultural exchange program to a memorable conclusion.
