📚 Small Press Expo 2026 – Taiwanese Cartoonists

📍 Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
Five Taiwanese cartoonists—Monday Recover, Crystal Kung, A ee mi, Rio, and Ding Pao-Yen—will participate in Small Press Expo 2026 as Special Guests, connecting with comics fans and fellow creators in the United States.
The expo will also feature a special panel, “Comics From Taiwan,” moderated by Tinguu (The Cannibals). The five featured Taiwanese cartoonists will share their works and creative experiences, offering audiences a closer look at Taiwan’s dynamic comics scene.

Ju Percussion Group brings its 40th-anniversary program, “Energy ∞ Infinite,” to Virginia Tech. Blending Eastern and Western percussion traditions with contemporary works, the performance explores the diverse possibilities of percussion through rhythm, movement, and sound. This performance also marks the ensemble’s debut at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.
