To celebrate Taiwan's National Day, the Brisbane Taipei Economic and Cultural Office held a reception on October 4 at Sun PAC, about 300 people joined. FASCA-Brisbane members helped at the event and led the singing of the Taiwan and Australia national anthems, showing the spirit of young people.
The next day, a National Day flag-raising ceremony was held at the Queensland Taiwan Centre. FASCA members served as flag bearers and raised the Taiwan and Australia flags together. They felt the strong friendship between the two places.
This year, FASCA members joined both the reception and the flag-raising event. It was their first community service after their training. They learned to share Taiwan’s culture with more people, gaining good experience for future cultural and international exchange.
