On October 11, 2025, FASCA-SD held its monthly meeting at the Harvest Evangelical Church of San Diego. The day started with fun team games, which helped members get to know each other and feel more connected.
FASCA members shared what went well, what could be improved, and ideas for future projects. This helped the group think about how to grow and build a stronger connection with the local community. A parent workshop followed, where three parents spoke about their jobs and their experiences as immigrants. Their stories gave members simple but helpful insights into different careers and life in a new country.
The October meeting was a positive and meaningful day. Through sharing, teamwork, and learning from others' stories, FASCA-SD members continued to build their leadership skills, cultural understanding, and spirit of service.
