The Delegations of Taiwanese American Centers in North America, including members from Los Angeles, New York, Northern California, San Diego, Washington D.C., and Canada, visited Taiwan from September 11-16, 2017. On September 11, the delegations met with President Tsai, Premier Lai, Mr. Su, President of the Legislative Yuan and Mr. Wu, Minister of OCAC. They exchanged opinions with each other on domestic and foreign policy issues, provided valuable suggestions, and expressed their expectation that Taiwan would develop into a better country.
The group also visited Taichung City, Tainan City, Taiwanese-American foundation, Formosa TV, Chimei Museum, Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology, experiencing the multi-culture and beautiful scenery firsthand that Taiwan has to offer.
