2019 Conference for Overseas Compatriots in Asia had been held from March 14 to 15 in Taipei. 100 representatives of overseas compatriots from 12 countries were invited to attend the grand event, including South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.
On behalf of the overseas compatriots, these representatives also met President Tsai Ing-wen to show their staunch support for the government.
Moreover, in the hope of enhancing the communication between overseas compatriots and the OCAC, the attendees exchanged their opinions throughout the conference.
We believe that through Conference, there will be more and more supporters showing their recognition for R.O.C. (Taiwan), and it will bring overseas compatriots and our government to a better future.
