This year, the OCAC invited the renowned National Taiwan College of Performing Arts (NTCPA) to lead the Lunar New Year Goodwill Mission Tour. From February 13th to March 10th, the troupe performed in cities including Japan(Yokohama), Philipp(Manila), Thailand(Bangkok), Cambodia(Phnom Penh), Vietnam ( Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh), Malaysia(Keningau, Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru), Indonesia(Medan, Jakarta, Bandung) and Australia(Perth).
With a theme of “Jubilant and Vigorous, Taiwanese Love” and creative inspiration from dynamic local Taiwanese ethnic cultural arts, the show highlights the splendor and beauty of Taiwan by blending traditional acrobatics, dance, folk arts, and drama. Overseas compatriots and international friends can experience Taiwan’s abundant energy and vitality through this distinctly unique performance.
