Led by President Kevin Tsay, a delegation from the Taiwan Hotel & Motel Association of North America (THMANA) comprising of 33 members and second-generation youth members visited the Overseas Community Affairs Council on March 12, 2018. The visitors were received by OCAC Vice Minister Roy Yuan-Rong Leu, who hosted a lunch for the guests. Also, to promote interaction between domestic startups and overseas Taiwanese businesses, the OCAC invited three startups in different areas, namely Panosensing, Nvtek Electronic Co., Ltd. and Bdiot Co., Ltd.to engage in exchange with delegation members to explore business opportunities; the discussion meeting was chaired by Director-General Wong Shu-Hwa of the OCAC's Department of Business Affairs. THMANA President Kevin Tsay stated that he was very pleased to see the OCAC arrange a startup business opportunity matching activity for this visit. He said that the older, middle and young generation members of the THMANA have rich entrepreneurial experience that they are willing to share with domestic startups and also take the strongpoints of domestic startups back to the US.
