The 2020 Osaka Lunar New Year Festival was held on January 26th.  More than 5,000 overseas compatriots and Japanese participated the festival to experience Taiwanese cuisine and Lunar New Year culture.

Minister Hsin-Hsing Wu attended the event and said that the Osaka Lunar New Year Festival had been held for 20 consecutive years, and it had become the most popular event for the overseas compatriot communities in Kansai area. In addition, the people-to-people relections between Taiwan and Japan were getting closer; the Japanese friends are most welcome to visit Taiwan.
