The 2019 Seminar of Overseas Community Affairs in Europe, Africa, and Central and South America had been held from August 26 to 31 in Taipei. 22 leaders of overseas communities from 20 countries in Europe, Africa, and Central and South America returned to participate in the seminar.

In order to make the attendees have a more comprehension on multiple dimensions of Taiwan, OCAC invited not only the representatives of National Development Council, but also professors and specialists among different fields to deliver speeches about Taiwan's achievements in diplomacy, cross-strait relationship, and startup businesses. A variety of training sessions about the organization of overseas compatriot associations were also arranged in the seminar in order to assist attendees to promote the overseas community affairs more efficiently.

OCAC urged all the attendees to disseminate OCAC's endeavor and contribution towards all overseas communities with other oversea compatriots, when they return to their countries of residence, assisting OCAC be more able to smoothly unify the overseas compatriots around the world to work together for elevating our country's international status.
