The Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter (ASTCCJC) held its 7th Semi-Annual General Meeting at Genting Highlands in Malaysia on December 4, 2017. 50 people attended, including President of ASTCCJC Pocky Hsiao and senior officials, representatives of Taiwanese Junior Chambers of Commerce of North America (TJCCNA), and directors of ASTCCJC from various countries.
Pocky Hsiao welcomed the directors of chambers of commerce who had traveled from afar for the event and said that the Junior Chapter will continue to expand its operations in coordination with the Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce, strengthen contact with the junior chambers of commerce in different Asian countries and actively seek new members, and will also actively invest in Taiwan in support of the government's New Southbound policy.
During the event, vice-presidents of ASTCCJC in various countries reported on their business development situation and discussed the qualifications and candidate quota for each country for the election for directors and supervisors of the World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter (WTCCJC), hoping that directors in each country have a fair chance to take part in WTCCJC business.
