Vickie Wen was newly-appointed as chairwoman of TJCCS

Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Seattle (TJCCS) held the 2020 Annual Cruise Gala on January 18, 2020. Around 300 youth Taiwanese compatriots and entrepreneurs from Vancouver, Chicago, and Portland attended to interact and the atmosphere was lively. Alex Fan, Director-General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Seattle, and Hsiao-Chu Wu, Director of Culture Center of TECO in Seattle, were also invited to participate in this meeting.
    Director Wu addressed to acknowledge the Chamber's ability to execute and mobilize. She provided brief information about the 20 visiting groups and training courses arranged by the OCAC and she encouraged the young overseas compatriots to sign up for the activities to expand the opportunities of business exchanges in the U.S. and overseas.
     Before the meeting, Vickie Wen was newly-elected as chairwoman of TJCCS. Director Wu congratulated 
Ms. Wen's appointment and expected that there would be more activities for the young overseas compatriots in the future. Ms. Wen said there are many young overseas compatriots in the region of Seattle. The Chamber will hold more events for young overseas compatriots from other groups and strengthen the function of TJCCS.
