The Global Federation of Chinese Business Women (CFCBW) is the only global Taiwanese business women's organization that originated in Taiwan and is also an important communication platform for Taiwanese business women worldwide. It has been in existence for 25 years and has members in 26 countries.
On December 8, the founding assembly for the Chiayi chapter was held, making it the 73rd chapter (49 overseas and 24 domestic). The Taipei City and Zhenshanmei chapters held their respective new president and over ceremonies on December 11 and 14. Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) section chief Yang Hui-ping attended the aforementioned events on behalf of OCAC Minister Wu Hsin-hsing, offered congratulations and presented founding (new appointment) congratulatory letters and letters of praise and encouragement to the outgoing presidents. She thanked the GFCBW for its long-term support for and assistance with overseas compatriot work.
