The World Federation of Chinese Organization from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos was established in Taipei city of Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1983. Since then, it has been playing the role of integrating the support from its members all over the world. The Federation has also become the home to all Chinese ethnic people from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos around the globe. The main mission of the federation is to promote traditional Chinese culture, cultivate young generations, and seek the welfare of Chinese ethnic people. In order to provide better services to its members, the annual meeting is held on five continents.
The 19th Annual meeting of the World Federation of Chinese Organization from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos was held in Vancouver, Canada from October12 to 14 2019. There were about 200 participants from all over the world. In the conference, all delegates promised that they would dedicate themselves to promoting the traditional Chinese culture and cultivating young generation actively.
OCAC Minister Wu, Hsin-hsing's speaking video was presented at the Opening Ceremony and praised the efforts and contributions that the organization has achieved throughout the years, which include seeking the welfare of Chinese ethnic people, preserving traditional Chinese culture, developing the spirit of unity and friendship, and maintaining democracy and freedom.
