The 68th Seminar of Overseas Community Affairs in North America, organized by Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), was held from April 15-19, 2019. Participants consisting of 34 overseas community leaders from North America gathered together in the seminar.
In order to make the attendees have a more comprehensive grasp on the development of Taiwan's tourism, the OCAC invited the representatives of Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C. Republic of China(Taiwan) to deliver speeches about Taiwan's sustainable tourism. A variety of training sessions about the function of overseas compatriot associations were also arranged in the seminar in order to assist the attendees in promoting the overseas community affairs more efficiently and effectively. Moreover, the one-day tour was arranged to enhance attendees' comprehension of the political and economic developments in Taiwan.
