The delegation visited the Overseas Community Affairs Council

"The Delegation of the Federation of Filipino Alumni Associations Headquarters 2018" was held from May 7 to May 9. There were 33 Filipino merchants in the delegation that visited the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) on May 7. The delegates were received by KAO, CHIEN-CHIH, the Deputy Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC). During the meeting, OCAC arranged four start-up companies to introduce their business for the purpose of possible business matching in the future. After the meeting, they were invited to a lunch feast. The Deputy Minister, KAO, CHIEN-CHIH, expressed his welcome to the Filipino merchants for coming to Taiwan. The chief of the delegation, CHUA YAP, ENRIQUE SIA expressed that in this visit, he hoped that the young Filipino Taiwanese could know more about the industrial development and business environment in Taiwan, R.O.C., as well as promote the interaction and exchange between them and the small and medium enterprises in Taiwan, reaping positive benefits.
Except of visiting the Invest Taiwan Service Center, speeches were arranged to introduce Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing, the delegates were also invited to visit the Maker Base of northern Taiwan, SHUTER Enterprise Co., Ltd., Asazawa Industrial Co., LTD., China Motor Corporation and Martas Precision Slide Co., Ltd., in the meanwhile having interaction with the representatives of these enterprises. Moreover they were invited to visit the Presidential Office Building, National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine and Sanxia Old Street in order to promote the understanding of the Young Filipino Taiwanese about the manufacturing industry development, environment and cultural background in Taiwan.
