The 1st session of "OCAC 2018 Southeast Asia Compatriot Youth Study Program" ended on May 15th. The courses in this year has programs specially arranged for these youth from Philippines to visit vocational schools including Zhuang Jing Middle School, Wanneng Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School, Chung Shan Industrial & Commercial School, and Kao-Yuan Senior High School of Technology and Commerce, and Chung Hua University, Chinese Culture Universally. In every visit, student were encouraged to have practical hands-on activities such as robot assembly, baby care, hair design, hand-shake drink preparation, and cake making, to name a few.

During the 14 days tour, every school introduced in detail their school programs, campus and facilities. Most of the students are very interested in Taiwan's education
. It is expected that these students will be able to study in Taiwan in the future, and they can also help promote Taiwan's fine education system.

Also arranged in the tour were trips to National Palace Museum, Lanyang Museum,National Center for Traditional Arts, Taipei 101 and Taichung Science Museum, to let them have a deeper understanding of local cultures.

The farewell party is the time when students speak for themselves the real feeling they had after so many new experiences received. Many students wanted to share the thought that after so many days learning and living together, they are now not just friends but family. The student performed on the last day and showed a good impression of Taiwan. The party ended with joys and tears in a song they just learned in Taiwan "FRIENDS"
