“The Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Manual” aims to help overseas Taiwanese businesses upgrade the agricultural technologies for stronger national power.

To help overseas Taiwanese businesses upgrade technologies and and enhance international competitiveness, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), the Agricultural Technology Research Institute (ATRI), and the Agricultural Bank of Taiwan (ABT) collaborated to launch “the Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Scheme” on OAugust 6, 2020, which integrated agricultural technologies and talents from the ATRI, and the financial backup from the ABT. The scheme helps overseas Taiwanese businesses collaborate with Taiwanese agricultural industry, and “the Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Manual” is also in place to speed up the upgrade and transformation of agricultural technologies of overseas Taiwanese businesses.
 “Taiwan is a tropical country with leading agricultural technologies”, said Minister Chen-Yuan Tung. “Our strength lies not only farming, fishing, and animal husbandry, but also in agricultural environment management, ecosystem maintenance, agricultural products processing, and smart technology, which can bring overseas Taiwanese businesses to the next level. Moreover, Taiwan is well known internationally for its agriculturism, which can be a good example for overseas Taiwanese businesses. The OCAC looks forward to achieving four main goals through the scheme and the manual: to help overseas Taiwanese agribusinesses become stronger and sustainable, to help overseas Taiwanese agribusinesses expand global markets, to help overseas Taiwanese agribusinesses export equipments, facilities, and logistics to global markets, and to help overseas Taiwanese agribusinesses make investment in Taiwaneness agriculture.
“The Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Manual” includes a LINE Contact (ID: @TW. AGRITECH) for inquiry and consultation, a service platform that provides agricultural technology related consultation, industry services, and technology transfer resources, and agricultural loans provided by the ABT.
 “The Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Manual” has been uploaded to  https://Business.Taiwan-World.Net for overseas Taiwanese businesses to download to use.
Minister Chen-Yuan Tung hopes “the Global Overseas Compatriots and Taiwanese Enterprises Agricultural Service Scheme” will help overseas Taiwanese businesses upgrade the agricultural technologies and expand collaboration opportunities for Taiwanese agribusiness.
