Indonesia Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter (ITCC-JC) held its Members Annual Banquet on December 9, 2018 in Jakarta, during which the Indonesia Market Experience and Trends Analysis lecture was held. The event attracted more than 100 members of the ITCC-JC and their families.
Ambassador John Chen of the Taipei Economic and Trade Office, Jakarta, Indonesia said that joining the Junior Chapter is not only a way to extend one’s personal connections network and build the foundation for business development,  it also offers a chance to learn leadership and communication skill so that, in the future when an individual formally enters the chamber of commerce system and learns from the older generation, they will be able to take on heavy responsibility and become a leading figure in business and overseas compatriot circles. He expressed the hope that more young people join the chamber of commerce and encouraged members to return to Taiwan to observe, invest or start a business or arrange for their children to return to Taiwan for education, to continue the link with Taiwan.
The average age of the members of the ITCC-JC is under 40 years of age, their backgrounds mainly three kinds: successors of the family business, managers of multinational groups who are based in Indonesia, and entrepreneurs who have set up business in Indonesia on their own. Members meet regularly to share business information and create business opportunities.
