On the invitation of the OCAC, fifteen managers from five schools of the Association of the Overseas Chinese School in Korea, led by Mr. Chi-sheng Yu, the principal of Seoul Overseas Chinese High School, visited Taiwan from January 20 th to January 26th. They visited various, unique schools of different grade levels and were deeply impressed by the high-quality teaching environment and advanced teaching concepts in Taiwan.

The delegation visited the OCAC on January 25 th and exchanged opinions on the development of overseas Chinese schools in Korea, teachers’ training, and students studying in Taiwan. OCAC Chief Secretary Liang-Min Chang stated that overseas Chinese school students in Korea use the same textbooks as Taiwanese students, and that those overseas schools have a close relationship with Taiwan. Secretary Chang hopes that this relationship will be maintained and that the OCAC will provide the schools with more assistance in the future!

Among the members of the delegation, there were many overseas Chinese school alumni, who have a deep affection for Taiwan. During the trip, they took the opportunity to visit their alma maters. They also used some of their free time in the evenings to check out Taipei’s various night markets and other attractions, bringing back many wonderful memories of studying in Taiwan!
