President of Jackie Chen from GFCBW, Director General Vincent Liu from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta, and President of Alex Day from TJCCGA gave moon cake as a gift to President of Newton Myvett and professors from Art Institute of Atlant.
Two master chefs from Taiwan gave a book as a gift to professors from Art Institute of Atlanta.
The first Taiwanese gastronomy culinary demonstration hosted by the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women (GFCBW) and the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of Georgia (TJCCGA) was held on September 13, in the Art Institute of Atlanta. Certified master chefs Huang Ching-long and Chen Chi-wen from Taiwan arrived here to promote the greatness of Taiwanese cuisine, attracting a large crowd of AIA administrators, faculty and students to feast on the lovingly-prepared food. Taiwan was ranked number one by CNN in 2015 as the culinary mecca of the world. The event helped to bring Taiwanese culture to a classic American classroom via the chef’s culinary craftwork.
