The Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Western Australia (TCCWA) hosted an overseas startup financing service presentation on April 11 in Perth, Western Australia. The presentation was graced by Ms. Rebecca P. H. Lin, CEO of Overseas Credit Guarantee Fund (Taiwan), OCGF's Manager, Helen Liu, and World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce's (WTCC) Emeritus Honourary Supervisor-General, Philip Ying. Ms. Lin shared with the attending Taiwanese businessmen on application details concerning credit guarantee fund, in hopes of providing suitable credit guarantee to aspiring overseas Taiwanese residents planning to build startups and needing financing, expat-run businesses, and overseas compatriot businesses, giving them the funding services they need to improve their revenue performance, upgrade their competiveness, strengthen smarter, industrialized division of business focuses, and expand their overseas presence to heighten Taiwan's economic and trade presence.

Also, former chairmen of TCCWA, Stanley Fan and Clement Liao also took the opportunity to discuss their experiences with participating in 2017 Startup Workshop for Overseas Compatriot Young Entrepreneurs. OCAC works closely with the government's New Southbound Policy, and actively vies for the support of overseas Taiwanese, and expat Taiwanese businessmen. The tour was a great success and provided a needed boost of energy into investment and business partnerships in the community of expat Taiwanese businesspeople.
