The Overseas Community Affairs Council organized the Language Study Program for Compatriot Youth at NTNU SCE from 11th Dec 2017 to 21st Jan 2018 to help compatriot youths with their the study of Chinese culture and language, and also to introduce to them the land of Taiwan.
Students from Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and other countries in the southern hemisphere participated and all 80 of them successfully completed the program.
Miss Bo-Cin Chen, Section Chief of Youth Programs under Dpt. Of Student Affairs, OCAC and Miss Hui-Ling Song, team leader of NTNU-SCE co-hosted the closing ceremony on 16th January 2018. In addition to graduation certificates, students who excelled the program were also given recognition and were honored on stage.
All students expressed their wishes to visit Taiwan again someday. This 42-day program has undoubtedly left them with indelible memories about Taiwan and its good-natured people.
